Ying Chen is Dean of Marketing Department of School of Business Administration, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, China. Her research interests include maker culture, digital creative industries. She is one of scholar leaders in designing and evaluating Hangzhou Creative Indices in 2008, Hangzhou Animation Industries Competitive Indices in 2013, Hangzhou Countries and Cities Beautiful Indices in 2014. She has published two books on creative cities: Optimization Design and Application Research on Environment of Creative Industry Agglomeration Districts (Zhejiang University Press, 2012), Creative City: Analyzing Eight Major Segments of Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Industries (Zhejiang University Press, 2013).
