【报告简介】:

Existing ecosystem research, with its predominantly firm-centric view, offers an incomplete account of the competitive dynamics surrounding critical technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), where intensifying geopolitical competition has elevated the state from a background institution to an active orchestrator. We advance a new framework centered on the concept of national AI ecosystems, arguing that state activism is driving the consolidation of firm-centric ecosystems into broader configurations aligned with national strategic objectives. The rise of national AI ecosystems and the rapidly evolving AI landscape call for a rethinking of how firms strategize in the global economy.
